I do not stream a lot (just wanted to try it) so I can’t say much about it. Now I also tested out OBS and it’s essentially a streaming/recording software, does everything ShadowPlay does but it does offer more streaming services and options to improve your streaming quality. – Unfortunately I didn’t test this enough to see any cons… + You can choose what window/program to stream It’s very easy to set up and easy to use as well. Onto OBS, it’s a free open source streaming software you can use. Maybe Nvidia will fix this in the actual release but as of the latest version it stops the stream if you close or alt-tab out of the game. If you alt-tab or close the game, the stream stops. It will record your games at 1080p at 30 FPS. What’s different about it is that you don’t need to install any extra software (if you use GeForce Experience already). Basically this is like any other tool, it can record your game and webcam and sound, etc. I’ll assume you’re used to streaming tools and such.

I’ll just say a few things about each, first with ShadowPlay.
